Strange how a little cute game like Pizza Chef can cause such a great buzz online. Lots of people came to our blog came in search of “games like Pizza Chef”. And we’re happy to present them you. Luckily, there are plenty of cooking-themed time-management games based on various principles.
The Hot Dish is one of them. This is cooking simulator for those who decided to master Italian cuisine.
You’ll be cooking entrees and appetizers like cheeze pizza, Chicken Alfredo and other chef d’oeuvres of Italian art of cooking. More than that, you’ll have to manually repeat the actions of chef(mincing, chopping, adding sault, boiling, baking etc.). every action is accompanied by a natural soundtrack. The point is to concoct several dishes at the same time and please the food critic. Too pity, you cannot taste your concotions yourself in real:). Or at least smell them:). A nice addition to the game is match-3 sanitary inspection.:)
Another game like Pizza Chef is Champion Chef. This title blends principles of time-management and collapse.
You’ll have to serve your customers by preparing what your customers order.
The ingredients fall in a manner of collapse game. Nice cartoon graphics, and good old collapse are pros of this game.

I love love love hot dish, but have one minor complaint- I can not for the life of me get that “stir” thing down, and it’s the only thing keeping me from buying the game bc it’s frustrating not to get a perfect when for some reason one of the tasks isn’t working right. Even in the tutorial- didn’t help. Any ideas??
Dear Cheryl. It’s a pity you have problem with stirring. In fact, in order to stir the vegetables or other ingredients on the frying pan, you’ll have to perform two kinds of action:
1. move your mouse up and down holding the left mouse botton – in order to add sault or other ingredients to the veggies . You have to do this when the progress bar below the pan reaches the green vertical arrow.
2. When the bar reaches the round arrow(which means it’s time to stir), please hold down the left mouse button and move your mouse clockwise or counter-clockwise as shown by the arrow. You’ll be stirring. I hope this solves your problem. Happy playing!
Hot Dish is a great game. What a fun new way to add variety to cooking games. This is a great new game syle. I hope there will be more from these guys!
I agree with Cheryl, I get a perfect on everything else, but for some reason the stirring(counter clockwise motion) never works for me correctly, or at least I think I’m doing it right, but apparently I’m not, as I don’t get that 6th perfect star.
Dear Syn and Cheryl, in order to stir you’ve got to place your cursor over the grey arrow and move your mouse around it- as the arrow shows…

I love hot dish. I have the full version, but I can’t figure out what all of the achievements are. I have all of them except for alone against the kitchen and chef supreme. Any idea how you achieve those two?
Hot Dish is a lot of fun, but the unresponsive ’stir’ thing is super annoying. I understand what it means to click in the box, hold down the button, and move the mouse within the box in a counter clockwise motion, but for some reason, I can’t make it stir right.
Very frustrating.

I have trouble with the stirring too. And does anyone know how to get the Recipe collector achievement? I’ve double and triple checked and I’ve bought all the recipes, but it’s not giving me that award.
